Bespoke Abstract Art
Bespoke Abstract Art
Turning music and emotion into vivid artworks
I’m a UK-based abstract artist specialising in large-scale, bespoke commissions for private homes, corporate spaces, and boutique hospitality. Working in acrylic and mixed media, my paintings are defined by a signature interplay of light, architecture, and atmosphere.
Most of my art is an exploration of how my sound synaesthesia can influence my work as an artist. Pieces I create for my private collectors are mostly based on a favourite song or a special memory.
“Synaesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in other sensory or cognitive pathways.”
An existing collector built on this and came to me with a very interesting idea, he was a writer and wondered if i could make him two pieces based on one of his favourite poems and a piece of his writing. These pieces are titled ‘Kubla Kahn’ and ‘Cries’ as viewed in the Gallery section below. These were two of my absolute favourite pieces to create and I would love to create more in the future.
Synaesthesia can manifest as a bridge between the five traditional senses…
Past Corporate Projects
Hill Cross Furniture
Hill Cross Furniture is a family-owned, market-leading contract furniture company, established in 2000.
The company needed an eye-catching abstract artwork for their new meeting room. They drew inspiration from some of my very early artworks and wanted something similar but updated to fit perfectly into their space.
Mallard Homes
Mallard Homes is a sustainable homes developer based in Yorkshire. They were relocating to a brand new office within a stunning old bank and wanted to make the opening night into more of an event. So they reached out with this idea and gave me completely free rein with the theme which was absolutely amazing.
I sized up five pieces to fit perfectly within the space and based each one on different songs that spoke to me at the time.
